A: I plan to interview one of the staff members, or managers. They seem to have been around the animals for a while, so they must know how to run the place. They know how to treat and care for the facility.
2.) What additional questions do you plan to ask? (Ask open ended questions.)
- How are you today? What made you want to work with animals? Tell me a little about yourself, and your experience with the animals.
- What is like to care for an animal in need?
- What's the difference in caring for an animal who is saved from a no-kill shelter, than one that customers can drop off?
- How do you find the animals from no-kill shelters? Do you go to a no-kill shelter in person?
- Caution is necessary when handling an animal who is sick. Is it harder to care for an animal in the shelter, than say if it were at an animal hospital? What's the difference?
- Is it hard finding home for animals? Do city limits prevent individuals from adoption?
